Eagle Transmission & Auto Repair

Very disappointed with my experience at Eagle Transmission in McKinney. I paid approximately $1,600 to have my truck repaired. When I picked up the vehicle, the check-engine light came on, and I continued having the same issue I brought the truck in for. About two months later, I returned to the shop because the problem was still there. However, the situation was very different. The manager and other employees I originally dealt with were no longer there, and the new people told me that they did not know what happened with the previous manager or what had been done to my truck. They are now telling me that the problem is a different issue, even though I believe it is the same problem I originally paid $1,600 to have repaired. They have not fixed my truck, and they have not offered to refund my money. I understand that sometimes vehicle repairs can be complicated, but I expected better communication and accountability, especially after spending $1,600 on the repair. I would recommend getting a second opinion and making sure you understand exactly what is being repaired before paying for major work here.

If you're looking for an honest shop with outstanding customer service, this is the place. I took my vehicle in because I had been told it needed a transmission flush after losing transmission fluid when a CV axle was replaced. David let me know that I needed was the transmission fluid topped off. They could have easily sold me a service I didn't need, but instead they were honest and upfront. I dropped my car off early that morning, and David called with an update a little after noon. I really appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and integrity. It's not easy to find a shop you can trust, but I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them.

Took my transmission in to get serviced spoke with Manager David very nice man so check it out. This is on Friday on Monday. He called and informed that he had checked out the transmission not only did he check out the transmission. He discovered that we had an extended factory warranty, which we could get the service done at the dealership under warranty, so the diagnostics that he done on the truck to determine that it did have transmission problems for us. He did it no charge if you have transmission problems and you’re in the McKinney area. I suggest highly that you contact Eagle transmission on university 4021 University Dr. in McKinney ask for David he’s gonna take care of you above and beyond the call 100%.

David has been my man in the corner during this transmission process. He helped me with the warranty claim from start to finish and advised me on the best actions to take. He was extremely responsive and answered my call every single time. I will never go to a different shop moving forward. I Highly Highly recommend this shop.

A very honest shop that provides excellent service. From the customer service to the pricing and repair. I spoke to manager David and he was able to help me service the transmission on my bmw at a very reasonable price when other shops asked for ridiculous amounts of money. I am grateful to find honest mechanics.
